Mt. Madonna Challenge


SVRC Proudly Presents the:
33nd Annual Mt. Madonna Challenge 12K Race / 6K Salamander Run & Walk

Date: Saturday, August 23, 2008
Location: Sprig Lake Picnic Area
Sprig Lake Picnic Area is at the base (Gilroy Side) of Mt. Madonna County Park,
a facility of the Santa Clara County Regional Parks and Recreation System, on Highway 152
Time: Race day registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
6K Salamander Run & Walk - 8:30am
12K Mt. Madonna Challenge - 9:00am
Entry Fee:

 $25 Pre Registration by August 6th, with shirt
 $30 After August 6th and race day, no guarantee of shirt
Course: All events follow established trails within Mt. Madonna County Park.
Scenic courses take participants through groves of Oak, Manzanita and Redwood trees.
The 6K (3.6 mile) loop course has an elevation gain of 700 feet.
The 12K loop course has an elevation gain of 1100 feet.
Parking:

Carpool if possible, as there are limited spaces at Sprig Lake!!
Shuttle service provided by South Country Chrysler/Dodge from Fortino Winery!

Registration: Registration for 2008 will open in July 2008
