When was the club founded and how big is it?
In club was founded in 2004 and has grown to over a hundred members.

Do I have to be a good runner to join?
The SVRC is geared for all levels, from beginner to elite.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?
The benefits are many fold, ranging from camaraderie to discounts on races.

What is Age Graded racing?
Age grading compares a runners times against the US Record for ones same age and sex. This handicap system allows all runners to compete equally.

What is the Grand Prix?
It is a series of races each year that members race in to earn points. Each race is age graded. The top point earner wins the Grand Prix.

How do I join?
Download the membership form and mail it to the address therein. Better yet, print out a calendar and come out to a club event or meeting and join in person.
